Integration services make it easy to enhance, extend and integrate third-party applications with Four51. Whether you're looking to tie your back-office system to Four51, integrate with a customer's enterprise application or manage your catalog data, Four51 has the solution.
Four51 integration solutions help sellers and suppliers increase efficiency and improve operations:
Connect to customers' systems – Sellers can enable customers who have their own web sites or enterprise procurement systems to link directly to the seller through the Four51 network. Using PunchOut and single sign-on, buyers can access products and services on the seller's Four51 web site.
Improve order management – By tying back-office systems to Four51, sellers and suppliers can eliminate re-keying of orders, process orders quickly and efficiently, reduce shipment processing time, and introduce consistent processing.
Order management services – Order management services include order request, ship notice and create PO. These solutions enable sellers and suppliers to automatically download order data into their own systems, send shipment tracking information to Four51 and automate sourcing activities.
Customer integration services – Customer integration services include PunchOut and single sign-on:
Catalog management services – Catalog management solutions include seven web services designed to allow sellers to import and manage catalog data as well as users, groups, cost centers, addresses, custom order fields, products and Pageflex project files.
Shopping cart management services– Shopping cart management solutions include the order validation web service. This service allows sellers to control the Four51 checkout process, performing operations like custom tax and shipping calculation, line item price override, address validation and item purchase validation.
Inventory management services – Inventory management solutions include the Four51 product web service, which allows sellers to update Four51 with inventory metrics from a back-office inventory management system. For sellers who receive orders via Four51 as well as by phone, fax or email, this service allows the seller to keep Four51 inventory data in sync with the seller's own back-office systems.
XML enables application interoperability between systems. By exchanging XML data with Four51, sellers and suppliers can send and receive data and information between Four51 and the seller’s/supplier's own systems. This exchange includes importing and exporting specific XML data using business objects called "web services". Inbound XML data is imported and "translated" into a format consistent with the process and procedures of the seller's/supplier's application, while outbound data is translated into XML data and exported to a corresponding XML management system sitting in from of the seller's/supplier's internal application that is set to receive the data.
